Quit all Office apps. Hold down the "Option" key and start Entourage. A window will come up with options for "Typical" or "Advanced" database rebuilds. WARNING! (sorry to shout)--an Advanced rebuild can lose data. The following comes from the MS Help system (search for "rebuild database", select "About rebuilding the database"): Advanced rebuild Repairs damaged data and reduces the size of the database. Because this option repairs data, which can result in data loss, you should use it only after you've performed a typical rebuild of the database and determined that problems continue to occur.
