Thanks, I have had it working fine for ages. My original problem was just with the Entourage Talk mailing list rejecting my mail...and I speculated that it has something to do with coming from a mac.com address with the Earthlink SMTP server (Jud at LetterRip hinted at that possibility in private messages). That's how this whole thing got started. I don't have any problem making this work, just getting the list to accept mac.com mail. I've switched my subscription to my mvps.org address, so no further problem.
