They can send you messages from Outlook in HTML instead of in RTF. It's quite easy for them to do that, unless they're using Outlook 97 or earlier. Tell them to upgrade to Outlook 2000 or XP, and then they can send and read HTML without problem.
You should be able to send to them in HTML if they have Outlook 2000 or later. Alternately, you could send each other Word documents (using tracking for colors) as attachments. As long as they have Word 97 or later, there should be no problems. (If they're still using Word 95, there might be an occasional problem. No one should be using Word 95.) You should be able to send them normally, but if you want to be really sure, set your encoding to MIME/base64 in those emails. Make sure you set Entourage's Compose Preferences to always include the file extension (.doc) (or Word's Prefs to always add it). If you are sending a lot of them at once in a folder, you'd have to Zip them (with Aladdin's DropZip), not Compress them with Stuffit. -- Paul Berkowitz > From: Jeffrey Jolando Sim <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Thu, 14 Mar 2002 09:04:53 +0800 > To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: How to advice PC user > > I have these problem that PC user, mostly corporate emails uses RTF format > because they need to highlight it with color to draw attention to some > important notes on the message.
