Allen, thanks for your reply. It's good to know that it's not just my setup. And as I say, it's a relatively (for me) minor annoyance. What makes it so noticeable is that these nice little features are what are supposed to make Entourage more efficient; it becomes even more apparent when they become the source of a problem.
