Does anybody know why the following situation occurs?
My Mail & News preferences are set to reply to incoming mail with the
following attribution:
on [DATE], [NAME] at [ADDRESS] wrote:
Sometimes, it works perfectly, as in this example:
on 2/17/02 12:18 PM, Paul Berkowitz at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:
At other times, this is what it does:
on 2/17/02 12:18 PM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:
I thought the second example was a result of someone not being in the
address book, but that's not the case. Even if someone is in the address
book, it does this.
I was thinking that it could be that the mail to which I am responding
arrived from something other than their DEFAULT address in the address book,
but I checked a few and found that not to be the case. Even when someone is
in the address book and the mail is received from their default address,
this still happens.
Anybody know why?
