Please, please, everyone; try to remember to state what version of OS & Office you are using. It makes it so much easier to give relevant advice when we know your environment. You can define what columns to see either by setting them in the 'View/Columns' menu or by control-clicking in the column header. New folders take their default columns from the parent folder or, in the case of new folders at the top level, from the In Box. These instructions are correct for version X of Entourage.
