Spoke too quickly. I took a quick look and saw you use "tokenize", "join", "offset in list", and other list manipulation stuff. While nearly all, probably all, of that can be done in native code, it is lots slower, and I don't have routines for all of it lying around. "offset in list" I have, but the other stuff is more complicated.
