The expired message is bearable, I've found. You tend only to get it with
the first use of each ACME command by the app, so the message frequency
drops off pretty quickly.

I did have an AppleScript-only version of the script for a while, but it was
a lot slower, so I had to go with ACME in the end (bugs and warts and
all...)
