Possibly a bad idea for some individuals, but if you are in *any* kind of
corporate environment, the argument "but I was never notified" doesn't hold
much water...

Considering that Office X was designed for the *office* I'm not surprised
that the default is to tentatively accept the event.  Personally, when I
look at my calendar, I want to know *everywhere* I need to be, or where my
presence has been requested.  Anything less than that is a faulty system.

The advantage to EvX is that you can turn off this functionality if you
want.  Bringing up a dialog the every time that you need to dismiss is a bad
decision, only slightly worse than permitting a checkbox to not display the
dialog *in this case*.

If you don't like some of the default behaviors of EvX, it is simple to
change them.  At least the Office team provided that option, they could have
left it the way it is in E2001 (or most other message/calendaring apps).
