I received this notification, to my surprise, as I hadn't read the message
yet. 

Further, I had calendar general preferences set to *not* tentatively add
events when invitations are received. That was specifically to avoid this
problem.

If this gets to be a problem, ie; losing control of may own calendar, I'll
be dropping Entourage like a hot potato.
