In fact, you can import your entire address book into LB, and--from anywhere--trigger LB with it's hot key, and start typing the person's name (or abbreviation thereof), and you get a list of matching files, apps, folders, and E-mail addresses. My friend Robert Perry, for instance, I can access by typing Cmd-Space (my trigger for LaunchBar), "rper", Return. I end up in Entourage with a new E-mail addressed to him. The really great thing about LB is that you can "train" it to know abbreviations. If "rper" gives me a list including Robert Perry, but something else as first choice, and I click on his entry, then the next time I type "rper", LaunchBar picks his record first. -- My web page: <http://home.earthlink.net/~allenwatson/> My scripts page: <http:homepage.mac.com/allenwatson> Microsoft MVP for Mac Entourage/Word--<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
