You can still have this flexibility. Entourage allows you to assign multiple categories to a contact. Create a "NoSync" category (or any name you want to call it). Assign this catagory to the non-sync contacts in addition to whatever other category or categories that you have assigned these contacts. Then set the conduit to ignore the "NoSysc" category.
