Thanks for the tips on how to choose which contacts to synch and not to synch. Still, I think that not having a "don't synch" checkbox is a bad idea. I hope that it will be added at some point.
It won't be added/. Forget about it. Give all those contacts your "No Sync" category (as a subsidiary, non-primary category if it has others) and choose "No Sync" as your category NOT to sync. That does exactly the same thing, plus allows more flexibility.
