As my grandfather is fond of saying, "If it was a snake it woulda bit me."
I never even thought to add multiple 'set category' actions to the same
danged rule.  That does work.  Thanks and ... Doh! ;)

A great idea. I hope they take this suggestion.  (And the 'debug log' you
suggest.)
