Fred, Entourage does not, at the moment, provide anything like full Exchange support, so whoever encouraged your colleague to switch to Entourage for that purpose was mistaken in doing so. MS is very clear at the MacTopia website about which product does what. There's no secret about it. At the moment, only Outlook 2001 in Classic (where it works just fine) or in OS 9 provides full Exchange support. MS have announced that they are committed to providing Exchange support natively in OS X, and there has recently even been an announcement or two that have been found on the web, indicating that it will be a future version of Entourage which does this. But there is no time line or release date even hinted at. So you need to use Outlook 2001 for now. However, you can use Entourage in conjunction with Exchange, to do mail -if your IT people set up Exchange as an IMAP server - and also to access the Global Address Book as an LDAP server under certain conditions. But it can't share calendars, tasks or private address books. With these limitations, you can use both Outlook and Entourage if you wish, including accessing your mail (but not the address book, of course) from home. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X. It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
