Since switching from OS 9 to Jaguar, my only slow program has been Entourage X. It loads fast, but there are some fairly long pauses in it. When I try to resize any Entourage window (via the lower right grab corner), there is a good 2-second pause before the window moves; deleting each message takes just over one second each: 10 messages, 10 seconds.
Does everyone else experience this, or is this a function of my particular situation? I've done both a regular and advanced rebuild of my data base. I permanently delete all deletes after 60 days. I'm using Jaguar 10.2.3, with Entourage 10.1.1 Service Release 1, on a 933 Mhz, with 1 Gig Ram. My Office X Identities folder weighs in at 630 Megs (my total MUD is 1.1 Gigs) ; I have about 9,000 messages total.
