If you don't select "Save" for a particular attachment but just double-click
it, it gets saved to Saved Attachments. (If it's one of those graphic
attachments that is displayed automatically without clicking anything, it's
saved to the Entourage Temp folder, and disappears when you quit Entourage.)
But that's not relevant here. The attachment does not disappear from the
database nor the message in which it's embedded as, for example, Claris
Emailer and Eudora do/did.

You referred to having the Main Identity on the DeskTop of your "desktop"
computer. That seemed to indicate to me that it wasn't in the office X
Identities subfolder of the MUD folder. Did you mean something else?

Yes, I think Nigel got that right. You'd have to reconfigure SpamSieve for
each computer. I don't have it, so I don't know if you'd need to do it every
time. If your ISP does a good job of server-side filtering (as mine does,
which is why I don't need SpamSieve so far), you'll manage with that.

Yes it would. That is the whole point (almost) of IMAP. Your Drafts folder
and Sent Items folder and all other folders are on the server, accessible
from all 3 computers. When you save a draft, it can be saved to the server
Drafts folder; when you send off a message, it can get saved to the server
Sent Items folder. (These are optional IMAP account settings that almost
everyone uses.) You never have to mess with synchronizing again. I'd suggest
you find an ISP that will provide IMAP. (When your server mailbox fills up,
you save old messages to local folders or archive them to MBOX files. You
could do that on all 3 computers if you wanted to.)
