Jim,

I generally archive by creating a new identity, and moving all e-mail before
a certain date into that identity.

I currently have 10 years worth of e-mail stored this way (going back to
when Compuserve had userIDs under 10,000).

So my identities are NWF-1993, NWF-1994,...NWF-2002.
