I think the main reason Mike Wright will not sell iData Pro is because of
instability problems that have yet to be resolved. I used C&G's QuickDex for
years and love it, so I got iData Pro so that I could continue to use all my
QuickDex files when I migrated to OS X. Unfortunately, I've experienced
intermittent but frequent instability problems with it. One of the problems
is that it crashes when I try to import email messages into a free form data
file. Sometimes it will import, but then crash as soon as I type any key.
Sometimes it takes out dock functionality when it goes down. And sometimes
it works just fine. Apparently I am in the minority, but until the app is
stable I'm reluctant to use it for archiving my email.

That said, I really hope Mike can fix it because it's a great app when it
works. If/when it's ready for market, I'm buying it immediately.
