Do you think I would have gotten the same Error if I put my Airport inline
BEFORE the Linskys, i.e. Optonline.net Cable Modem > my Airport Extreme >
then Linskys into my Airport Extreme, or even cutting out Linskys
completely, but taking the Ehternet Cable from that office's computer, and
plugging it into my Airport? Would such setup -- Optonline.net Cable Modem
> my Airport Extreme take care of "5.7.1 Relaying not allowed:"??

If not, then I'd ALWAYS need to know SMTP for the "host" ISP. In this case,
I was lucky, because a friend, who lives locally happened to know
Optonline's SMTP mail.optonline.net from the top if his head. If I wasn't
able to reach him on the phone, I wouldn't have been able to Send email,
because I don't know my way around Windows, and I wouldn't have been able to
look up the SMTP on their computer, unless it's a REALLY easy thing to do. I
know NOTHING about Windows!

The other "solution" would be to know the main ISP's SMTP's? Like --
Optonline, Verizon, Comcast etc. But how can I know ALL SMTP's with so many
ISP's around?!

So what do the "mobile warriors":) do when away from home? And I don't mean
Dial Up, I mean whenever there is Ethernet - Broadband available, how would
I be able to "splice in" into their network wirelessly or with Built In
Ethernet?! I guess, for starters, I have to always have Ethernet Cable on me
I addition to my laptop, right? Or use my or their phone wire for my
RoadRunner's Dialup access. Till the end of 2003, 1st 10 hours are free,
then, I hear, RoadRunner is going to Charge $1 per hour of Dial Up, or
something like that?!

Any and all education on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

TIA,
