The "problem" (it's not really a problem) is with Road Runner. They do not allow their SMTP server to be used from anything other than their own cable modem accounts. You couldn't use mail.optonline.net as your SMTP server from home, either. This is a common, "normal" issue and a big reason I use mail.momathome.com as my SMTP by default instead of mail.optonline.net (I have Optimum Online cable modem service). That way when I travel with my iBook, I know I can send mail from wherever I am (unless I'm connecting through an Earthlink account, I think). -- Judi Sohn Mom at Home Design [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.momathome.com -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
