Well, the only thing I use the software from Palm for is to provide the framework for Entourage syncing, and that isn't going away anytime soon. However, when I finally got around to attempting to upgrade my FlashROM on my m505, I found that the flash software only worked on 9 (on Macs) or on 9x (95/98/98SE/ME) on Windows. So it isn't just Apple that Palm may be having troubles with! -- Glenn L.
