Just stay in English, yes. Use the Register to change Entourage back to
English and use the correct Character Format (Japanese or UTF-8, e.g.) when
you're reading a message in that language. Most often Entourage's
"Automatic" setting will detect the correct character format and you won't
even need to do that, but sometimes (especially if the character format is a
variant Entourage doesn't know about) you have to pick one (which will be
very close to the sent format) yourself. Or UTF-8 works for (almost) all.
