Actually, I know that. But as Dave Cortright explained to me, an email or
news message is actually TWO items, and for anyone with near a million
items, they will almost all be messages - the other stuff will be "loose
change". So for the ordinary user who doesn't know that a message counts
double, it's effectively just under 1 million messages - minus the loose
change, right? You're the expert (Jud's the developer who actually created
this amazing database) so I'll know whatever you say is gospel.
