Yes, unfortunately that will be a one-off event.

As part fo the upgrade the database structure has changed dramatically, and
so it effectively goes through a complex rebuild process during the update.
This does, unfortunately, clear the cache of message IDs that have been
marked as already downloaded.

A pain to deal with, I know, but it shouldn't recur.
