I was one of those that thought they were too loud :-) Now I think they are
too quiet, I guess I just wont ever be happy :-P

I am pretty sure it was a app called Agent Audio, I can not seem to locate a
download of it anymore.

I think the best solution to this problem would be to simply provide a
slider in Entourage that allowed one to adjust the volume of sounds.
