A few Entourage issues we've noticed around here during the last several weeks on various computers. These issues only seem to happen in Entourage. My guess is that these issues are probably random quirks in our systems. But thought they should be noted. We all have huge email databases that have gone from emailer to outlook express to entourage 9 to entourage X to 2004... Actually in my case I my database started in eworld and then went to emailer...


1. The cursor disappears. It's still there, just invisible.  Can be fixed by opening a new window and doing some random clicking. Happens about once a week.

2. When clicking "Click here to add recipients", the window for new recipients is not revealed, but the widow is actually there, but invisible. Typing will eventually be shown when you click out of the invisible window as will auto generated names (assuming you type correctly and press return). Further evidence of the invisible window is that the html tool bar is dimmed. This bug is window specific ie if you open a new window the new window is fine. Happens rarely but enough to be noted.


3.  Non clickable windows. The program isn't frozen (new mail is still gathered) but you can't click on any windows. You can quit using control keys. Rare.

4. Weird arrow key behavior. When clicking down from the second to last row to the last row of text occassionally the cursor won't go down.

Putting the insertion point to the left of the T and pressing the down arrow sometimes will take the cursor back up to the right of the T.

5. Freezes. Very occasionally Entourage will freeze dead in it's tracks. This has happened to me once. To a colleague several times and to my wife several times. Of all the apps on our Macs Entourage is the only one that freezes dead.
