I and a number of other Users have reported the non-sorting correctly error in emails here, look under the Subject of of “Entourage 2004 mail-sort bug”.
Usually toggling the Sort Order Button fixes the problem but not always.
I have done a Verify, Compact and Rebuild of the Database and it made no difference.
Perhaps this will be fixed in SP2 when it arrives?

Hello, All --

I finally installed the Office 2004 upgrade (professional) this morning, and
while the install and copying of EntX data went smoothly, there are a couple
of small items I would appreciate help/comments on:
1. I prefer to use the 3-pane view with folders at left, message list to the
right, and the selected message below that, and I found that even though I
had all folders set to display by the sent date, with the the most recent
date/time at the top, and although Ent 2004 did display within the correct
day sub-menu, some of messages were in the reverse order based on the time
within that day, and in other folders some were in a mixed order based on
the time within that day. I found that by toggling the “Sent” widget
back and forth once corrected this in all cases, and after doing that
through some 40+ folders and sub-folders, all is well. Is this some minor
bug — has anyone else seen this??
2. In the same 3-pane view, is there anyway to get rid of the “Today”,
“Yesterday”, “Tuesday”, “Last Week”, etc. sub-menus in the list column??
I already have everything listed by date and time anyway with the Sent column
Visible, which makes those sub-menus redundant for my purposes (plus they
look like double-vision when there are only 1 -2 messages in a period), and
they take up unnecessary space in the narrow preview column. Can I turn them
off someplace (I went through all the prefs and view
options, but found nothing applicable)??
Thanks/Regards,
George Arellano
