That's right. It's not the resolution, really, it's the screen width (or
lack thereof), although I guess they're related. I couldn't cope with plain
text messages in 3-column view on my former 12"-iBook either. The preview
pane was never wide enough for the hard-wrapped lines, and they'd always
break in the middle, then break again at the ends - impossible to read.
There's enough room for comfort on my new 15" PowerBook with high resolution
and Entourage opened almost full width, so I've forgotten all about the
issue now. On larger screens again, there's no problem at all.
