It is possible the server is busy at night. Did you try to receive first? If you continue to have problems, install tcpflow. Download tcpflow here: <http://www2.entropy.ch/download/tcpflow-0.20.dmg.gz> When you install, you will not see an application, but it will allow you to use the Terminal to view network traffic. It's best to test this with just the application that is giving you problems like Entourage. Quit your browser or any other application that could be using the network. Select "Work Offline" in Entourage After install, open the Terminal and copy/paste in this command sudo /usr/local/bin/tcpflow -i en0 -c These are for Ethernet. Other instructions here: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/troubleshoot/tcpflow.html> <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/troubleshoot/sniff.html> Deselect "Work Offline" and click on "send and receive" You'll see Entourage talking to your ISP. This should give you a clue as to whether the problem is with your Entourage or your ISP. It also helps to have this when you call your ISP for help. -- Diane Ross, Mac MVP Entourage Help Page <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> Entourage Blog <http://blogs.msdn.com/entourage/> lists the EHP as one of the top five resources. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
