Question: I recently bought an iBook G4, and, 2 weeks ago, transferred my entourage etc data across. Yesterday, I wanted to bring the iBook up to date, and after much reading etc created an ".rge" file of my main Mac's E'rage, and transferred this to ibook. When I double clicked on it, it 'launched' itself and imported itself into the iBook's e'rage.
Now the result is that within e'rage (iBook), I now have a folder called 'Main Identity.rge" which nmearly duplicates everything else I have in there. But it has not transferred certain folders across. Did I do the right thing? (probably no). Is deleting all 'older' folders the next sensible step? How do I synchronize the e'rage - ideally without having to buy other software?
