Thanks very much. Can you remind me what Database demon is all about?

And: do I just trash the iBook's Main ID folder (under Documents) and copy
the main mac's folder into that place? IBook's E'rage will automatically
refer to that new one?

If I want to make a backup of the current Main ID for my trip - do I make a
dmg/disk image and compress that? That is what I usually do - very time
consuming, though...
