Title: Re: Exporting from Entourage to Address Book
Hi Shannon,
Here’s the easiest way I know:
  1. Open Entourage
  2. From the File menu, choose “Export...”
  3. Click the first radio button that says “Export Contacts to a tab-delimited file”
  4. Click the arrow in the bottom right corner of that window
  5. It will name the file “Contacts Export.txt”, make sure it is saving it to your desktop
  6. Click “Save”, click “Done”
  7. Quit Entourage, open Address Book
  8. From the File menu, choose “Import” then choose “Text File” from the submenu
  9. Navigate in the next window to the “Contacts Export.txt” on your desktop and click once on it, then click “Open” in the bottom left corner
  10. You will have several choices come up for configuration, but they are self-explanatory. Click through them and you’ll be done

Let me know if you have problems with it. There is also a drag-and-drop method that works just as well, but it is more steps.
Cheers,
John

Subject: Exporting from Entourage to Address Book

Hi,

I’m looking to export address book information from Entourage 2004 and import it into Mail.app’s Address Book?  Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks,
Shannon
