Thanks for your responses guys.  We use entourage in an exchange environment here and I haven’t seen this bug until the 11.2.4 update, that’s strange.  But glad to know it is mostly harmless.

It's not exactly harmless.

If you sync your calendar to a Smartphone (Treo) and with an Exchange
Server, it is quite simple to have an event time shifted to the current time
zone of the Smartphone.

I recently traveled from PDT to EDT and back.  I'm still finding events that
got moved by 3 hours.
