It's been good to read all the traffic on the delays...I've been sitting back and observing that as well as my installation of Entourage.

What's interesting is that I've had the Spotlight indexing turned off (Preferences>Spotlight>General Preferences>Spotlight) and still had a long delay yesterday after DL’ing new messages with considerable disk activity.

What’s up with that?
