The freeze is likely NOT Spotlight-related, given that I have the freeze and I'm using OS X 10.3.9 -- not Tiger -- and thus don't even *have* Spotlight on my Mac. (Also, not yet using a version of Entourage that enabled/allowed Spotlight searches, either.)
