I'm wondering if your IMAP server has some functionality mine doesn't. This is what "Show Information" gives for my IMAP server:
IMAP4rev1 IDLE LITERAL+ UIDPLUS CHILDREN AUTH PLAIN AUTH CRAM-MD5 AUTH CRAM-SHA1 Does your server have something more? I have had this irritating behaviour for all IMAP servers I've tried, so I was thinking it must have something to do with Entourage rather than the server. And, as I said, Apple's Mail does the correct thing. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! --Ulf "Larry Stone" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: >> The behaviour I see is that the message is transferred to the correct IMAP >> folder, but the folder does not indicate one more unread message until I >> click on it or the "look for unread messages in subscribed folders" job >> kicks in. > > Hmmm.
