I also had to redo one folder, and now none of the messages will move to that. I deleted all the old folders with that name and redid the rules.
When my computer froze, I couldn’t access anything.

You have to open each entry in the list to see what category is assigned to
each entry.

Did you check the Finder to see if you could reset it? Sometimes this will
allow you to quit all applications and reboot.
