LDAP is enabled for AD by default.

I will run the updates as suggested . As for the LDAP server... what would I enter here and does the LDAP protocol need to be installed or enabled on the AD or exchange box? Or is that a default already running?

Run this update
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloadsaspx?pid=download&location=/mac/download/office2004/Office2004_11.2.5.xml&secid=4&ssid=29&flgnosysreq=True

Then run this one
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/download/office2004/Office2004_1126.xml&secid=4&ssid=30&flgnosysreq=True

This will update office to 11.2.6, entourage will read as 11.2.5

I support about 120 entourage 2004 mac users, and I don’t see this problem.  I have seen it in the past when we were on 10.3 and before the service pack 2 release for office 2004.  Do you have a LDAP server entered in the advanced area?  I see where you have OWA address you have an IP address for the exchange server?  Try entering just the url for the OWA, eg email.mycompany.com, or however you would access your e-mail from home if I worked for the company you support.  Webdav is a good one to have enabled since entourage uses that protocol.  Also in the advances area, enter the exchange server address then / and then public.  So it would look like
Email.mycompany.com/public.  This is necessary for calendaring and other things.

Hope this helps

Elliott

Version entourage 2004?  11.1?  11.2.1?   11.2.5?  What version OS?  How is Entourage configured to hook  up to the exchange server?  IP address? OWA address?

Yes continued spinning beach balls.  Exactly how the owner of the company described it to me.

Frank, can you expand on what you  mean by  ‘continuing sync. problems’ please ?
Is it frequent  spinning beach balls by  any chance ?

We have a mixed   environment Windows XP and Entourage 2004. It seems that select  Entourage  users are having a continuing synchronization problem with  the Exchanges  server 2003. All other PC's and remaining Entrourage  email users are working  fine.

It only seems to be a hand full  of users on the MAC side.

I checked the settings  between Entourage users and cannot find  and  difference. I am  not that familiar with this client so any help  would  be   appreciated.

Thanks
