Understood. My point was to reconfirm that when "Perform Database Integrity
Check in the Background" was deactivated, there were no freezes but as soon
as I turned it back on, the freezes returned, thereby seeming to confirm
that "Perform Database Integrity Check in the Background" is the culprit (at
least in my case, on a MacBook Pro with the latest OS and Office updates).
