As stated in one of my previous posts, about the only time I work on my MBP when on battery power is in airports or on long flights and, to be honest, I don't recall if Entourage froze during any of those periods or not (since background check doesn't run when on battery power, my guess would be that there were no freezes, just as there are no freezes on AC power with background check turned off, but there are when turned on). In any case, hopefully, this will help the MacBU to finally identify and fix the problem and include it in the next update.
