On occasion I have to print a hard copy of an e-mail such as today as part
of preparing a file for litigation. I have found that if I print some
e-mails (I think the common thread is HTML) that it will print the body of
the e-mail but it will not print any of the information at the top (Subject,
Date, From, To, Conversation, etc.).

Those same e-mails sent to someone using Outlook on a PC print with all of
the information at the top. Other e-mails sent to me (specifically those
that are plain text) print correctly. This problem does not appear to be
the case with ALL messages with HTML messages. For instance, the
Entourage-Talk Digest prints correctly although it appears that there is
some sort of HTML formatting.

Further, when printed, the text and pictures on these HTML e-mails are very
small, almost to the point of being unreadable.

Selecting Message>Edit Message and selecting okay when asked if I want to
turn of HTML formatting, will allow the information at the top of the page
to print, but it removes formatting which, in some cases, make the body of
the e-mail difficult to read.

I¹ve gone through every menu item I can think of, turning on and off
anything related to HTML to see if that helps. I¹ve done searches several
places, but I can¹t seem to find anything that addresses this. Nothings
seems to do the trick.

As a Mac guy since 1984 in a company full of PCs, this is an extremely
challenging situation to me. I can either:

1. Grovel and ask EVERYONE to only send plain text e-mails (that will be a
losing battle).
2. Ask someone using a PC to print them for me (cumbersome and somewhat
embarrassing)
3. Suck it up (not a good solution)

Is there some setting in Entourage that will take care of this or is it a
gap in Entourage vs. Outlook?

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Using Entourage 2004, Version 11.3.3 (061214) on a MacBook Pro, Mac OS X
10.4.8.

Thanks in Advance,
