I had completely misunderstood you so it's good to have the additional info. I had thought you indicated the duplicate in the Entourage folder window. The rebuild failed!!!! The Main Identity [Backed up 5-22-2007 20. 8] should be a duplicate of the original. Sometimes the rebuild goes ploink and the original is damaged. This is why I recommend that you duplicate it first. Even though it¹s rare, it¹s an easy step to assure your data. May I ask, why are you rebuilding? Are you having problems?
