This is the recommendation from the developers. I would delete items in
Deleted Items folder then sync away. As always make a backup prior to any
activity like this that accesses your data.

Entourage use to rename the database as ³old database² now it renames the
entire folder so if you look in your Main Identity folder the database that
is there is your database. Your rebuild didn¹t make an old one.
