I've been using iSync to sync Entourage 2004 and my Nokia 6280 and it's been working really well - calendar, tasks and contacts.
However, I just noticed that I had five copies of one particular contact. I deleted the four duplicates and, to force Entourage to write this to the Apple Address Book (or to 'The Truth' actually), I deselected the 3 Sync Services items in preferences, then reselected them. Entourage told me that (from memory) I'd changed a folder that was syncing or something (sorry I forget) but what I do remember is that it asked me to choose between what was in Entourage and what was stored by sync services. I'd just made the changes in Entourage so I chose Entourage to overwrite sync services. Now synching with the phone is broken, Every time I try to synch, the phone sends 275 contacts and 86 calendar events, whereas before only one or two items were exchanged. Then iSync says "An unexpected error occurred" and "Synchronization failed", and the phone reports "Synchronisation info: Calendar: Incomplete. Unable to process all items." Does anybody know what I've broken, and, more importantly, how to get it to work again?
