I agree with Paul. It isn't free of problems, as this list proves, however causing a kernel panic isn't one of the known issues. Mostly I find corrupt emails cause the application to crash, or "unexpectedly quit" as Apple calls it. Or you can cause your own grief by removing fonts from the System while Entourage is running.
