I¹m curious if anyone else on the list has seen this issue. Office 2004, patched to 11.3.9, running on Tiger, patched to 10.4.11. Entourage is connected to an Exchange 2003 sp2 server.
The user constantly sees incoming messages going directly to his local¹ Inbox, the one under Folders on My Computer¹. Of course, incoming message should go to the Inbox under the network-Exchange email account. We have been able to temporarily correct the problem by creating new Office 2004 Identities. But, as I describe it, the repair has proved to be temporary. This user happens to be using a Treo 755w to access the same Exchange email account via ActiveSync. I am skeptical a connection exists but best to mention it. This user also is religious about archiving email from the network-Exchange account folders to Folders on My Computer¹. He never lets more than a day or two of email collect in his network-Exchange account. Has anyone seen anything like this in their experience? I¹ve been administering Office 2004/Entourage 2004 client machines with this same Exchange server for 2-3 years. I¹ve never seen this problem before. Let me know. Thanks a lot.
