Everything needs formatting! :) I work with type design all day as part of my job. Most of us do not even pick up on the subtle nuances that make what we see look more pleasing to us. Most of it is subliminal. You know that you like Lexus more than Toyota, but why?
In my opinion it is almost always more pleasing to read HTML text, even when you are not using special formatting or trying to do something fancy. Plain text reminds me of those awful generic black and white food labels from the early 80's. You know the ones. Those cans of vegetables that just said "Peas" on the label. Yikes! Thank Steve Jobs that those days are over. :) I just saw this documentary tonight called "Helvetica", one of my favorite fonts! http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Helvetica/70076125?trkid=189530&strkid=86770988 _0_0 on 12/24/07 10:24 AM, Roger S.
