Ten year? It won't take THAT long. It's more than 90% now, unfortunately.
However, that wasn't the question the OP asked. The question was which was
better, and I believe I -- and others -- have offered evidence that Plain
Text is "better" -- in fact the overwhelming vote of people who have chimed
in on this thread is for Plain Text.

I never said they wouldn't be resolved; however, I believe the OP's question
was about *now*, not the future. (Notice how emphasis can be made without
needing HTML.) :¬)

Please, be very careful when making assumptions about people's lives. I'm
sterile, and have no children, so therefore no grandkids. It's a painful
reality for me, and a subject you shouldn't joke about to someone you don't
know. There are so many examples you could have used without getting that
personal!

*Obnoxiously* long? Yet curiously smaller than if it was HTML. That's my
point, and I thank you for helping me make it. The real culprit for my
burgeoning database is *needless* HTML mail (did you know that your reply in
HTML is twice the size of the exact same message in Plain Text?) as well as
needlessly long quotes in replies (but that's a different dragon that needs
a different sword and a different suit of armor, on a different day).

I'm finished; you will have the last word. We'll continue to disagree, and
I'll continue to be pleased with the robustness of Entourage's customizable
plonk filters/rules.

Happy New Year!
