As someone who didn't KNOW you could edit the subject of an email, only the body, I've gotten around this (also from Kagi, isn't that funny?) by clicking in that folder and highlighting a single message in the message list, and pressing Command F and typing in the name of the software I'm looking for. Takes seconds -- probably less time than if I was scrolling, but then again, my "Orders and Serials" folder isn't limited to only Kagi.
